Skin Positivity: A Trend We Love

It’s easy to be hard on yourself when you’re experiencing a break out. But, we are not here to tell you to completely forget about your acne and love yourself no matter what. Well, okay maybe we are.

Dealing with acne is tough. It can hurt physically, mentally, and emotionally. So, what do you do when you’re experiencing a bad break-out? You search for tips and tricks on how to make it go away, of course.
While we do have a treatment that could help clear up your skin, we want to also emphasise how important it is to be a little kinder to yourself during those bad break-out days.

Embracing yourself, flaws and all, is very in style. Let’s keep it that way.

Acne is common. As in "8-out-of-10 people have acne" common. And the treatments available do not always give the result you want. While you are mid-search for acne cures, why not embrace the current "skin positivity" trend? We love the increase in articles showing celebrities and influencers flaunting their scars, pimples, and ‘imperfections’, without photoshop. Why do we love this? Because comparing yourself to photoshopped images of perfect skin is enough to make anyone, acne or not, feel insecure.

Our goal is to help people feel good about their skin which doesn’t only include reducing pimples and scars. It also means making sure you feel good throughout the entire journey to clear skin. Flaws and all.
